Stack Check

Free

45 minutes, at your office

  • A list of your core software, which plan you're on, and who uses it
  • A look at one or two workflows that eat your team's time
  • Up to three things you can turn on that week
  • A short written summary afterward

No access to your client files or records needed. We look at the software, not the data inside it.

01

It may already be in your software.

AI features have been showing up quietly in tools many businesses already pay for: office suites, accounting systems, practice and job management software, CRMs.

They're easy to miss. Nobody trains your team on them, and the vendor's job ended when you bought the plan. So the features sit there, and the work still lands on the same people's desks.

Finding them, setting them up, and getting your team using them is most of what Ruta does.

How it works

  1. Stack Check

A free 45-minute visit. We look at what you pay for and one or two workflows that eat your team's time.

  2. Audit

A written map of your workflows and tools, with a clear recommendation for each opportunity.

  3. Setup and training

Hands-on sessions where your people set it up in the tools you already own, on their real work.

  4. Build only the gaps

When nothing you own covers it, Ruta builds the missing piece, small and maintainable.

03

Every opportunity gets one of four answers

The first question is always whether something you already own does the job.

  1. Configure

A tool you already own covers it. Turn it on and set it up well.

  2. Configure plus

A tool you own covers most of it. A small custom piece closes the gap.

  3. Build

Nothing off the shelf fits well, so a custom build is justified.

  4. Defer

The tools aren't good enough yet. Wait, and revisit.

04

How Ruta works

  • Paid by clients only

No vendor pays Ruta to recommend them. The recommendation is the one that fits your business.

  • Configure first

The cheapest, fastest fix is usually a setting in software you already have. That's where every engagement starts.

  • People decide, AI assists

The tools draft and organize. Decisions that matter, and anything that goes to a client or gets filed, stay with your team.

  • Sensitive records stay out

Medical records and other protected health information stay out of any AI tool unless the right agreements are in place. That's a firm line, not a setting.

Who you'll work with

Ruta is Jack Feinberg's consulting practice, based in Petoskey. You work with me directly, from the first visit through setup and training.

I may look young, but I bring more than five years of hands-on experience with AI. My focus is practical: helping your team get more from the tools you already have.

For a law firm, I built an intake helper designed to turn notes and emails into consistent drafts for forms, lead records, and staff notifications. It reflects how I approach AI: start with the information your team already works with, and connect systems where it makes sense—with people reviewing the work.
