AI consulting for Michigan businesses
Based in Petoskey, Ruta AI Consulting works with businesses across Michigan. Start with a free Stack Check at your office in northern Michigan, or plan remote audit and training sessions if you're farther away. The focus is on putting the AI in your existing tools to work for your team.
01
Where the AI usually already is
Many of the tools Michigan businesses run on have added AI features over the last few years. They tend to sit unused because nobody set them up or showed the team what they're for.
- Office suites, for drafting, summarizing, and searching your own files
- Accounting systems, for categorizing, reconciling, and reporting
- Practice and job management software, for intake, scheduling, and records
- CRMs, for follow-ups, notes, and keeping client records current
02
Who it's for
Businesses that run on a handful of core software tools and have a team spending hours on repeat work: intake, data entry, drafting, scheduling, and reporting. You don't need an IT department or a technical person on staff.
Ruta focuses on AI and the software your team uses every day. It's not a managed IT service, so it won't replace whoever handles your networks, hardware, or security.
03
In person across northern Michigan
Ruta AI Consulting is based in Petoskey. Stack Checks and onsite work happen at your office, with location and travel arrangements confirmed before booking. For businesses farther away in Michigan, audits and training can run remotely, with onsite days agreed where they help.
At a Stack Check, we look at the software you pay for and one or two workflows taking up your team's time. If there's a fit, a separate audit maps the opportunities in writing; setup and training happen with your team in the tools they use every day. You can stop after any step.

A practical example
For a law firm, I built an intake helper designed to turn notes and emails into consistent drafts for forms, lead records, and staff notifications. It reflects how I approach AI: start with the information your team already works with, and connect systems where it makes sense—with people reviewing the work.
The intake helper prepares drafts for staff to review and transfer into their existing tools. It is not a claim that those systems are already connected or that the helper makes decisions on its own.

What to expect from your consultant
You work directly with Jack Feinberg, from the first conversation through setup and training. Recommendations start with software you already pay for, rather than a new platform to buy.
An audit maps the opportunities and explains which to configure, extend, build, or defer. Setup and training are scoped separately, and custom work is only proposed where existing tools fall short.
For the first conversation, bring a list of your software and one or two examples of repetitive work. No client files or sensitive records are needed for a Stack Check.

How it works
- 01
Stack Check
A free 45-minute visit. We look at what you pay for and one or two workflows that eat your team's time.
- 02
Audit
A written map of your workflows and tools, with a clear recommendation for each opportunity.
- 03
Setup and training
Hands-on sessions where your people set it up in the tools you already own, on their real work.
- 04
Build only the gaps
When nothing you own covers it, Ruta builds the missing piece, small and maintainable.

Forty-five minutes at your office, free. You'll leave with things worth turning on that week, or a straight answer that there's nothing worth doing yet.
